Modern J-ive dancing!  

 

Known as ‘the vicar and his wife’ (?!) at many venues, we dance all over the Midlands and wider afield too, including visits to every CEROC venue in Scotland! 

MJ-ive gives the opportunity for dancers who enjoy more opportunity to interpret music in their dancing, with music with plenty of dynamic, musicality, breaks, etc, rather than ‘bang...bang… thump… thump’. 

We are not interested in making money personally from these events, which is why they are Charity Dance Evenings.

All proceeds are given to the community work of St Mary’s Church (the church runs various projects to help people in need in the local area), in whose hall the dances are held (and where Morris happens to be vicar!). 

We will plan ahead and give provisional dates but these may be subject to change at fairly short notice depending on what else is happening in the Midlands area, so please keep checking this web-site (or www.uk-jive.co.uk) for details.
