Modern J-ive dancing!  

 

Known as ‘the vicar and his wife’ (?!) at many venues, we dance all over the Midlands and wider afield too, including visits to every CEROC venue in Scotland! 

MJ-ive is non-profit making and simply provides an opportunity for those dancers who enjoy more opportunity to express themselves and interpret the music in their dancing to do so with like-minded dancers.  The music will have plenty of dynamic, musicality, breaks, etc, rather than a heavy ‘bang...bang… thump… thump’ feel. 

We are not interested in making money personally from these events, so come for free if you like.  We just want you to enjoy the dancing!  Any voluntary donations received will be given to the community work of St Mary’s Church.  The church runs various projects in the local community to help those who are more disadvantaged, including drug/alcohol/offender recovery and Debt Advice.   

We will plan ahead and give provisional dates but these may be subject to change at fairly short notice depending on what else is happening in the Midlands area, so please keep checking this web-site (or www.uk-jive.co.uk) for details.
